Explore the benefits of instant USB connection from your CPT9000/CPT6020 transducer to your computer.

About the USB

Mensor’s CPT9000 and CPT6020 Precision Pressure transducers will now be offered with a plug-n-play, bus powered USB port--no external power needed. Users will now be able to connect the transducer to a computer and interface with existing programs using a standard Micro-B USB connector.

Benefits

The USB interface offers simple cabling and 5 different baud rates, which can be changed on the fly. Instant connection of your CPT9000 or CPT6020 to a computer via USB benefits industries like calibration and research labs, production lines and OEM by allowing users to:

  • Simplify installation – no external hardware, adapters, or power supplies needed.
  • Interface with the most widely used interface for data transfer.
  • Integrate with existing software programs by way of a Virtual COM port.
  • Easily monitor pressure with any laptop or computer.
  • Conveniently use off-the-shelf Micro-B USB cables, or use our custom IP-67 cable.

“We added a USB interface to our CPT9000 & CPT6020 transducers to further simplify their use by our customers,” says Robert Clayton, Director of Sensor Research/Engineering. “It’s a big advantage to use the supplied power over the USB port to eliminate any additional power supplies. Because the power requirements of the transducers is < 0.5 W, several transducers can be powered by a single USB 2.0 port using an unpowered hub.”

Enjoy existing features

Enjoy the same existing features of Mensor’s precision pressure transducers such as:

  • High accuracy, down to 0.008% IS-33 (CPT9000) or 0.020% FS (CPT6020)
  • High speed of 50 Hz by default
  • Wide temperature compensation of range of 0-50°C by default, or wider upon request
  • Temperature output–accurate to 0.5°C

Our transducers will also retain their compact, rugged design and durability: water and dust proof to IP-67. Users will still be able to change pressure units with ease.
